Bedenktijd adds the withdrawal button to a WooCommerce webshop. De Regelneef came up with it, built it and brought it to market, in Dutch and French.
The challenge
Since 19 June 2026, nearly every webshop in the Netherlands and France must have a withdrawal button. With it, a customer cancels a purchase in a few clicks, even without an account. Without the button, the customer's cooling-off period can stretch to twelve months and the regulator can step in.
What we built
A WooCommerce extension that handles the whole process. The shop owner installs it and sets the cooling-off period in a few clicks. The customer finds a personal link in the order email. The shop owner sees every request in one overview and handles it in one click. Customer and shop owner are notified automatically.
